What You Will Do:
CARES (Community Abatement Resource Economic Solutions) is designed as a comprehensive opioid abatement solution to help communities who have been affected by the opioid epidemic develop and implement plans, budgets, and evaluations to save lives.
As the CARES Public Health Analyst, your role will primarily focus on the approval of client data, calibration of CARES models, and ensuring accurate results to support public health initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) or Epidemiology modeling, with training in aggregated models.
Data Approval and Model Calibration:
- Review and approve client data inputs to ensure accuracy and reliability for use in CARES models.
- Calibrate CARES models to generate accurate and reliable results for public health decision-making.
Dashboard and Report Generation:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize model outputs and key public health metrics.
- Interpret data and provide insights to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions and interventions.
Software Development and Maintenance:
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing software applications.
- Provide training and support to end users on the operation of public health applications.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital Technologies and Innovation & Education, to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth implementation of new pilots.
- Provide ongoing support for live applications, including system maintenance, bug fixes, upgrades, and enhancements.
Problem Management and Resolution:
- Identify and troubleshoot complex technical problems, assess their impact on operations, and propose solutions for timely resolution.
- Lead triage and troubleshooting efforts for product clients, engaging in problem management activities as needed.
Documentation and Training:
- Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for public health applications.
- Develop end user documentation, training materials, and execute training sessions to ensure effective usage of applications.
Who You Are:
- Qualifications (Education, Certifications, and System Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related field.
- Training and experience in aggregated models and epidemiological modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in software development, quality assurance, and technical support is preferred.
